A transformational visit to a hypnotherapist sees Vera throw off the trappings of ‘civilised’ behaviour. Fully unleashed at the oh-so-trendy pitching event she attends with her other half, André, Vera’s toe-curling behaviour holds a mirror up to the faux-authenticity, virtue signalling and hypocrisy of her fellow entrepreneurs. One of this year’s most awkwardly funny treats, featuring a star-making turn from Asta Kamma August, The Hypnosis has smarts and charisma to burn.
