Join us at the 14th Discover Film Festival - one of the largest and most exciting short film festivals in the world with over 3,000 annual submissions from 100+ countries.  Discover Film finds the best short films from around the globe, stories that offer a glimpse into the lives of filmmakers. This could be what bothers them or makes them laugh, of injustices, of unsung heroes, of the serious, the bizarre, the funny or just where filmmakers’ imaginations take them.

Each screening will show a different selection of between 7 and 11 of the best short films and take you on a roller coaster ride through a variety of genres, action, animation, comedy, fantasy and drama and everything in between. Filmmakers battle it out for the Discover Film Awards including the coveted audience vote so make sure you have your say. The best of the best contend for the prestigious Craghoppers’ Film Prize that comes with a £10,000 first prize and £5,000 for the runner-up. Each screening will be introduced by our Head of Festival, Jaine Green, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
