Having attended a Hallmark movie workshop, John Wilson applies his learnings to a documentary about concrete, albeit with a dryly funny and deceptively understated tone.

After finding himself with too much time on his hands, documentarian Wilson attends a workshop on how to make Hallmark romcoms. It inspires him to apply the formula to a film investigating the story of concrete. Infused with Wilson’s trademark curiosity and wit, the film project introduces him to a variety of unusual people and places. The result is a wry and humane meditation on the modern world.
