Hunted for two centuries, Clara and Eleanor Webb are the only female vampires alive: a mother who feeds on human blood and will go to any lengths to survive, and her daughter who despises what she is and tries to live a moral life. Forced to find refuge in a run-down coastal hotel, they realise that they can not hide forever; not when their past and secrets are coming back to haunt them.

A must-watch title in the vampire genre, Neil Jordan depicts vampire lore in a contemporary way while staying true to its archaic themes.
