In an unnamed country at an unspecified time, there is a fiercely protected post-apocalyptic wasteland known as The Zone. An illegal guide (Aleksandr Kajdanovsky), whose mutant child suggests unspeakable horrors within The Zone, leads a writer (Anatoliy Solonitsyn) and a scientist (Nikolay Grinko) into the heart of the devastation in search of a mythical place known only as The Room. Anyone who enters The Room will supposedly have any of his earthly desires immediately fulfilled.

A Parisian police chief has an affair, but unbeknownst to him, the boyfriend of the woman he's having an affair with is a bank robber planning a heist.

Mr. Hulot (Jacques Tati) is the head designer of the Altra Automotive Co. His latest invention is a newfangled camper car loaded with outrageous extra features. Along with the company's manager (Honoré Bostel) and publicity model (Maria Kimberly), Hulot sets out from Paris with the intention of debuting the car at the annual auto show in Amsterdam. The going isn't easy, however, and the group encounters an increasingly bizarre series of hurdles and setbacks en route.

Emmi Kurowski (Brigitte Mira), a cleaning lady, is lonely in her old age. Her husband died years ago, and her grown children offer little companionship. One night she goes to a bar frequented by Arab immigrants and strikes up a friendship with middle-aged mechanic Ali (El Hedi ben Salem). Their relationship soon develops into something more, and Emmi's family and neighbors criticize their spontaneous marriage. Soon Emmi and Ali are forced to confront their own insecurities about their future.

T.S. (Jeremy London) and his best friend, Brodie (Jason Lee), take a trip to the mall after their girlfriends break up with them. T.S.'s girlfriend, Brandi (Claire Forlani), is participating in a dating game show at the mall, which was the initial cause of their breakup. Set in the early sixties in Taiwan, A Brighter Summer Day is based on the true story of a crime that rocked the nation. Straddling the line between fiction and documentary, Charlie Ahearn’s film captures the exuberant spirit of hip hop in New York at the very moment it emerged.

Four teenagers exploring a luxury new home are trapped in a pool by three aggressive Dobermanns. A summer party thrown by Juan and his two daughters at a patriarch’s impressive residence brings friends and neighbours together. But everything isn’t as congenial as surface pleasantries might suggest, and Juan may not be as infirm and distracted as his daughters believe.

Emirati director Majid Al Ansari’s chilling horror sees a woman pushed out of her own life.
