NEW RELEASE + RE-RELEASE FILMS

The full list of New Release, and the odd re-release, films currently in the building and when they're screening!

£1 Member Screenings

Every now and then we pick a film in our programme and offer it up to our lovely members for only £1.  Don't worry if you've purchased a ticket before the price-drop, just bring it to the Box Office on the night to claim your partial refund.

PLEASE NOTE: From time to time, we may pick a film that has multiple screenings in our programme as the £1 for Members film. Due to the build of our website, when we add said films to this page, all of the scheduled performances will show up, including those that aren't £1 for Members. Only screenings marked with "£1 Mem. Film" next to the time are Members Screenings. Any others will be priced at full price.

If you see a solo screening that isn't marked with "£1 Mem. Film", but on this page, it is likely because we haven't yet removed the film from this page from a previous Members Screening - and these, too, are not £1 for Member screenings. We try to update the page one or two times a week. We apologise for any inconveniece.

PCC 60th ANNIVERSARY

On 26th December, 2022 we begin celebrating 60 Years of the Prince Charles Cinema!

Originally opened as the Prince Charles Theatre on 26th of December 1962, the building was soon converted into a Dance Hall in 1964, before eventually becoming the Prince Charles Cinema in 1969. The current iteration of the Prince Charles Cinema dates back to 1991, where over the last 30+ years we've been striving to bring our fans the best, and most affordable, cinema experience around.

In honour of the 60th Anniversary of the building, we will begin celebrating by seeing the return of films released in 1962 to our screens - kicking off with our 60th Anniversary Members Day event on Boxing Day (26th December), where each film will only be £1 for PCC Members.

(Please Note: only films marked "£1 for Mem" are members films, all the rest are full price)

Keep your eyes peeled for more 60th Anniversary screenings added...

SEASON OF CHAN - celebrating the greatness that is Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan's colossal impact on Hollywood and the film industry spans six decades and is difficult to overstate. His humour, incredible stunts and action choreography, and grace have inspired countless other works - notably Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill films. He also popularised the parkour phenomenon. In 2016, the legend received a Lifetime Achievement Academy Award. "After over 200 movies", Chan said in his moving (and often hilarious) acceptance speech, "I broke so many bones. Finally this is mine".
